Laverne – “Matter of Tact”

Another video for Laverne by Vancouver-based filmmaker Zachary Lacosse (previously featured here). “Matter of Tact” is about personal responsibility, futility, and the uncertainty of taking steps forward. Fusing hidden meaning from the lives of both Lacosse and Laverne’s lead vocalist, the video explores how personal events are shaped by the added weight of global issues like the pandemic, industrialism, ecological and emotional collapse.
