“Stella for Star” by Nick Singer

A subtly layered short by New York City-based director Nick Singer (previously featured here). “Stella for Star” tells the story of a nuclear fusion expert who attends an academic conference with her two young children. Neglecting her maternal and professional responsibilities, Dr. Later spends the evening with a group of Furries attending their own conference at the same hotel, while news of a hurricane looms.
