Director Alexander Farah delivers a deeply moving portrait of a young woman and her diabetic father, brilliantly lensed by Farhad Ghaderi. Farah describes the project as a “love letter to the eldest daughter in every brown family” and it’s a powerful tribute thanks to some truly incredible performances from Ishaval Gill and her father Kamaldevinder Gill. This one will stick with us for awhile.
