“Figure 5” is an uplifting portrait of principal dancer at The Royal Ballet, Marcelino Sambé, who reflects on otherness in ballet and speaks frankly about his own journey. Filmed in the stunning surroundings of Sambé’s home town of Lisbon, the film is another lovely instalment in Bertil Nilsson’s series of dance portraits.
