A meditative short about brotherhood and the passage of time by Toronto-based director Peter Widdrington. “Under the Bridge” follows a young man named Marcus who returns to his old neighbourhood to visit his family. After spending time with his younger brother, Will, and Will’s new friends, Marcus is forced to confront how their relationship has changed and his own responsibility for the distance that has grown between them. The film was made at a time when Widdrington was reflecting on his own relationship with his brother and was filmed in the same neighbourhood he grew up in North Toronto.
