French rapper Niska collaborates with director Max Vatblé on a dark yet intentionally shocking video for “Chargé.” Leaning into Niska’s trap influences and Vatblé’s 90s hip hop references, we follow Niska as he embarks on a peculiar mission, carrying a strange package on his back. As Vatblé states, the concept can be described as “Hardcore French hip-hop meets the google search for ‘how to get rid of a hater’ set in a cartoonish black and white world.”
