“Óljós” by Ash Tailor

Lots of lovely visuals in this poetic piece by Toronto-based cinematographer Ash Tailor. Made in isolation and named after the Icelandic word for vague, “Óljós” explores the current climate of uncertainty through intimate vignettes of a single person’s response. As Tailor explains:

“Keeping the narrative open, it is down to the viewer to dissect and illicit meaning. Meaning that can be interpreted in an object, a person, something physical, mental or even something simple like the weather.”
