A hedonistic night takes an unexpected turn in this intense short by New York City-based director Andree Ljutica. Captured in a single take, “How to Say I Love You at Night,” tells the story of two young men navigating the expectations of a first date. When Paul (Chris Petrovski) shows up unannounced and refuses to leave, Benny’s (Mat Vairo) struggles to put an end to things amicably, raising issues of socioeconomic disparity and the way our differences often present first as fears.
