A fun and timely take on VHS horror classics for Lupa J’s track “Supermarket Riots” by Australian director James Chappell (previously featured here). As Chappell states:

“This year the events surrounding the pandemic have shown us that pedestrian spaces like supermarkets can become sites of charged tension and horror. ‘Supermarket Riots’ is my response to the hysteria in the media around panic buying filtered through a 80’s horror aesthetic.”
