A delightfully absurd short by Los Angeles-based writer and director Jonny Look (previously featured here). Heavily informed by the ridiculous research projects of the 60s/70s, “Assholes” follows a group of scientist who use an extreme method of physical and psychological torture on a variety of houseplants in order to coax them to communicate with humans.
