A wonderful journey into the realms of High Strangeness, Magical Thinking and Manic Delusion by New York City-based animator and designer Nate Milton. Based on Milton’s life story — specifically a manic episode and bipolar diagnosis three years ago — “Eli” features an original score by longtime friend and collaborator, Buck St. Thomas. The project also sees Milton re-teaming with another old friend, Robert Bohn:

“The heart is a fragile place. And it’s hard to show your heart and make work at the same time. But if you can find a way to stay in touch with people you love and actually create things together, from thin air, and take turns holding each-other up on our shoulders, and trust fall into scary places like we’re doing with the Amigo Unit, then it feels like something is working.”
