A wonderful look at the importance of soccer for those living in Nunavut by Canadian photographer and filmmaker Adrijan Assoufi. With a suicide rate almost 10 times the national average, “Aqijuq: Playing on a Frozen Land” highlights the rich cultural history of the sport as the new generation of Northern players work to compete in a major youth tournament.
