A poetic glimpse into the creative process of a struggling artist by Toronto-based writer-director Adrian Vieni. Written alongside the artist herself, “Prōˌses” follows an inner dialogue filled with self-doubt, fear, frustration and introspection as a way of acknowledging rather than denying the role of such feelings in the act of creation. As Vieni states:
“A nod to mental health issues like anxiety and depression, this film highlights the importance of not letting these things go ignored. What we hope to do is keep forwarding the conversation, and show that these issues are universal things that so many of us go though, whether we talk about it or not.”
