A slightly allegorical portrait of modern Moscow by director Anton Mironenkov for My Granny’s Red Flag Division. Following a group of girls who cruise through the city sharing their happiness, enthusiasm and dreams with random people, “The Last Summer of Childhood” explores the inherent contradiction of relying on young people for hope while constantly working to reign them in.
