Animation: “Forms VIII”

A transfixing audiovisual collaboration between London-based motion design studio Mr Kaplin and Mount Audio (previously featured here). Part of their ongoing Forms series, this instalment sees Mount Audio enlisting violinist/violist Mallory Hamm to help with “Forms VIII”‘s brooding score. The visuals are based on the idea of ‘the evolution of form’ through nature, the development of advanced technological structures and into a dystopian future.
