A French Canadian tourist struggles to embrace what might be outside of her hotel room in this fantastic short by Nashville-based director Joe Gomez. Especially love the pacing and subtlety of the storytelling. While filled with lots of lovely details, “Ocean Breeze” is ultimately about all the things left unspoken. As Gomez himself notes:

“There’s a story written for what’d bring our main character to such a place of isolation, but my favorite part of making this short was the variety of feelings and stories that everyone involved recognized in it. For some it’s a story of anxiety, heartbreak for others, for me it all started with a lot of boring hours spent in the similar looking disappointing hotel rooms over the last few years.”
