A lovely charcoal animation by Sharon Liu, created using ash salvaged from the fire that destroyed The Mackintosh Building at The Glasgow School of Art in 2014. The film documents the Ash to Art project in which 25 world-famous artists including Grayson Perry, David Shrigley and Sir Antony Gormley turned pieces of charcoal into art. The works were auctioned at Christie’s to fund the rebuild.

Film commissioned by J. Walter Thompson (JWT London)
