glaive – “detest me”

Great energy to this docu-hybrid music video chronicling glaive’s first trip to Los Angeles for spring break. “detest me” was directed by Ramez Silyan (previously featured here), shot by Marz Miller, and produced by Muddy Water:

“The goal here was to make this feel like a document of his trip through a combination of verite and planned moments. We were able to achieve this on 16mm by running two cameras for different scenarios, an SR2 and an aaton aminima rigged with a backpack transmitter. The SR2 lived on sticks with a zoom for observational shots, while the aminima allowed us access to shoot anywhere and everywhere without the hassle.”
