A simple and perfectly naive story about adolescence by London-based director Angelo Cerisara. Set to music by Not Waving and spoken word by Marie Davidson, “Hold On” follows a burgeoning love triangle between three friends, captured on an intimate road trip before things get complicated. As Cerisara shares:
“I followed those kids on a broken car through the Ukraine’s farmlands. The budget was less than 5k euros and a local production company helped me to make it work with such a tiny budget.”
