A perfectly unsettling video for Califato ¾ by London-based director NONO. Set against the backdrop of a rural Spanish salt mine in the 50s, “Fandango de Carmen” tells the story of a father unable to cope with the death of his young daughter. His grief drives him to the point where she starts appearing to him as a Marian apparition. As his obsession grows, he gains a cult like following within his village, with others keen to see the Virgin for themselves.
