An uplifting debut from community-based art project Flower Bomb. Founded in Vancouver’s downtown east side, “Come Together” was created by local artists Benton Robertson, Sam Leoganda, and YMC Dushine. The young boys in the video were cast through an after school program Benton helps run in the Strathcona neighbourhood.
“The sentiment of coming together is not only a concept written about in the song but was truly lived out through the creation of both the song and the video. The intention of this film was to demonstrate reciprocity, sharing and the value of community over material goods through a simple narrative.”
