“You Know Where You Belong” by David Findlay

A poetic visualization of the restless mind by Toronto-based director David Findlay (previously featured here). Inspired by his own tendency to make the occasional idiosyncratic gesture, “You Know Where You Belong” is ultimately an exploration of human behaviour “in all its mysterious beauty and specificity”:

“We all have quirks and compulsions, which subtly reflect who we are and how we live our lives. The film frames these behaviours through a meditative and observational lens, granting us privileged access into the unseen, daily moments of those who aren’t simply passionate but utterly possessed.”
