A fun and uplifting documentary short by Dutch filmmaker Kate Villevoye. Shot on 16mm, Villevoye tells the story of 12-year-old Marina, a blind teenager who uses YouTube as her unconventional weapon of choice when it comes to updating our understanding of blindness. As Villevoye states:
“I wanted to explore with Marina what coming of age blind is like and how complex themes such as beauty and social media come into play.”
