A poetic short about single motherhood by director Kristian Mercado Figueroa (previously featured here). Based on the words of contemporary poet Rachel Inez Marshall, “Mariposa” explores the emotional gaps between generations of Latinx women as we see how the day to day lives of mothers and daughters flash between love and loss.
