In “Powder Room”, we find newly sober Emma at her first house party since entering recovery. She arrived with an agenda— apologize to those she’s wronged, and rekindle the friendships she fostered as an addict— but her plan to make amends proves comically overwhelming.
Writer/director Aiden Arata describes the film as “a wry meditation on friendship, forgiveness, and wanting to change”. Some really great characters and strong writing here.
