In the musical short film for Meetsysteem’s ‘Heel Even Niets’ we follow Chef, a young, impressionable conspiracy theorist as he finds his way into a mysterious cult hidden deep in the Dutch forests. Here they prepare for the day they have been waiting for all of their lives. The song is about the search for redemption and the struggle to overcome dark feelings. It’s the same for Chef and his cohorts: they battle in a world they don’t understand at all against an enemy that may not even exist. They are all looking for redemption, a mountain we all have to climb at some point in life.
