Inspired by Ben Zaidi’s lyrics about packing up his late grandfather’s home, director Evers Pund wanted to “create a tomb of purity for Ben to exist within”. They ended up choosing to use plastic—the kind used to cover old furniture—to make a mausoleum of sorts, and it works effectively. Of the ending Pund says, “He finally rebels against this substance as it threatens to suffocate him, finding some kind of liberation, if only for a moment.”
