“If Everyone Knew” is a short documentary by filmmaker Imogen Harrison exploring the difficult topic of baby loss. Three women speak freely and candidly about their nuanced experiences and the film weaves a message of empowerment throughout, aiming to encourage other women to break through the stigma and have their experiences be heard.
One in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage, and yet despite it being so common, it’s an experience many women still feel ashamed of speaking about. Hopefully films like this spur on more conversation and help eliminate the stigma that surrounds miscarriages and stillbirths. No one should have to experience loss alone.
