This is an exciting day for all of us on the Booooooom team as we are looking to expand our team! We are currently looking to fill two positions: a curator, and a creative director. Learn more about the positions and apply below!
Position 1: Curator
Working alongside the Editor-in-Chief, the ideal candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to curate video submissions, and publish features on our site and social. We would love to find someone who:
• Understands our aesthetic and shares a similar taste
• Loves music videos and short films of all genres
• Has excellent writing and communication skills
• Has basic experience with Photoshop
This role is a paid freelance position (est. 15-20 hours per week) on contract for a minimum of 8 weeks with the option to extend and expand your role and responsibilities. Typically our freelancers are extremely successful in their roles and stay with us long term. You do not have to be based in Vancouver. This is a remote position.

Position 2: Creative Director
Booooooom TV has become a badge of honor for thousands of filmmakers seeking a curated space to share their short films and music videos. With this in mind, we are looking to expand our vision and bring on a creative director to focus on growing this platform and community.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding Booooooom TV’s overall direction, growing our audience of filmmakers, maintaining and developing new and existing business relationships, while overseeing and analyzing the effectiveness of the platform.
We’re looking for someone experienced at developing ideas and leading creative execution across a variety of mediums, from start to finish, with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge about the film industry, media companies, agencies, and how they operate.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, but can also work independently when necessary.
This role is a full time contract position (base pay + commission), depending on experience. You do not have to be based in Vancouver. This is a remote position.
