Fun style to this video for Earl Elliot by director Danny Griffioen (previously featured here). A metaphor for the struggle to become a famous artist, “Training for a Marathon” sees Elliot (Quinten De Pauw) play the role of both participant and observer, as his coach continuously bullies him like a nagging voice inside his head. Only after hitting rock bottom, is Elliot able to find peace and eventually break his record.
