San Francisco-based director Amara Abbas explores the visceral memories of an old flame that burnt out as quickly as it ignited:

“This experimental short film toys with the idea of fire as a metaphor for the kinds of love a person experiences. Some flame intense and strong, though they burn out quickly. While others are a soft, dim slow burn, requiring more work to stay lit. But it lasts.”
