A lovely portrait of Kinngait, Nunavut by Canadian filmmaker Adrijan Assoufi (previously featured here). Located just off Baffin Island, with a population of 1,400 people, Kinngait faces many of the same challenges as other remote Northern communities. While “Iqiannguq” — a word meaning bored in Inuktitut — is often heard echoed by the town’s young people, this next generation is also finding creative and resourceful ways to express themselves!
