A striking commentary on the current state of the world for Ukranian producer YOURA’s track “NET” by London-based motion designer Anatolik Belikov and Kyiv-based visual artist Masha Dmitrova:
“As a result of the hostile Russian politics and two revolutions in Ukraine – Our countries are in the position of the slow, smouldering war that started back in 2014 and split up Ukrainian (Almost half of the Ukrainians are Russian speakers) and Russian people. The unstable situation in the World and therefore in our countries is enhanced by many factors such as an impasse of capitalism in Europe and the USA, populism and social networks. The last ones supposed to unite us, but instead of that, we see the opposite effects. We are losing the capacity to solve the big global problems cause we miss the connections and such word as forgiveness.”
