Another beautiful portrait by London-based filmmaker Bertil Nilsson (previously featured here). For the third instalment of his ongoing Figures series, Nilsson explores the world of trapeze artist Korri Singh Aulakh, who struggles with a rare chronic condition, Myasthenia Gravis, as well as the unexpected loss of his father.
“In this series there is a challenge to be open, to experiment and fail, grow and find something unexpected. If there was a central idea to the films it would be that vulnerability is strength.”
