A semi-autobiographical film drawn from a wealth of real encounters shared between Vancouver band Wax Cowboy and director Lester Lyons-Hookham (previously featured here). Part fact and part fiction, “Scott” offers up a collective recounting of the internal life of a stranger:
“Sitting stylistically somewhere between dry, edifying 1970’s BBC documentary television and the jarring absurdity of 1960’s Goddard films – Scott is central to this shadow play – The anonymous, inconspicuous off-beat hero that we’ve all encountered at some point; whether or not we know it.”
