A stunning director’s cut for Swedish artist El Perro Del Mar by Brooklyn-based filmmaker Connor Hurley (previously featured here). Marking their third collaboration together, “Mirrors” takes on the track’s themes of empathy — both for oneself and humanity — and seeing the world through love and compassion. In terms of the visuals, Hurley explains:
“For me, ‘Mirrors’ is about the struggle and perseverance of women from the beginning of time. The characters can represent either three generations of women or the same woman at three stages of life, and the idea of attempting to communicate with your past and present selves.”
