Brooklyn based writer-director Jamie Dack captures the beauty of the mundane in this photography-inspired video for Emily Jackson. As Dack shared with us about her approach to the project:
“I had been taking portraits of Emily in New York for the last two years as well as photographing and directing films set against the backdrop of a specific neighborhood in San Diego. For this video, I wanted to combine these two things that inspired me: Emily and these bleak yet beautiful locations. I wanted it to feel like a series of moving portraits and Emily’s movements within the frame, as well as the camera movements, really elevated that concept.”
