A deep dive into Yellow Days’s subconscious by London-based director Jamie Whitby (previously featured here). The video’s main effect was created using a robotic arm and multiple passes over the same stage, which required redressing every time. As Whitby explains:

“Our production designer Jabez built 10 sets in a single day for this one, interchanging the ceiling and back wall to shake up our lighting options. We shot the transitions between rooms practically too, sideways on a camera mounted 90 degrees on a dolly to save paying for a jib, before comping them in in post.”
