On September 11th, 2016, Standing On The Corner released a 35-minute long mix of Puerto Rican music, soul samples and pitched vocals. The experimental project, helmed by Crown Heights’ Shamel Cee Mystery, aimed to create a sound as unique and diverse as the city that spawned them and the New York ensemble returned with their second full-length release, Red Burns, exactly one year later.

Now “Sahbabii /\ Now, Nation End, 38:15,” a track off that 2017 mixtape, has finally received a visual treatment! Animated and directed by Mortis Studio, and made in collaboration with WeTransfer, the surreal clip explores the albums personal reflections on growing up black/brown in America as well as underlying themes of impending doom and the end of the world.
