OK Go – “Obsession”

The fact that they got 567 printers to sync up to create the visuals is insane and pretty much the sole reason we’re still featuring it. That and the fact that we’re huge fans of Daito Manabe and Rhizomatiks Research who were the technical team on this!

The end result feels a lot more like a paper commercial imitating an OK Go music video than an actual OK Go music video. Loved the idea, just wish there were more moments like the one at 3:00.

Branded: “Finding Your Own Place” feat. Kimi Werner

A beautiful and empowering portrait of belonging from She’s Mercedes. “Finding Your Own Place” follows professional freediver Kimi Werner at home in Oahu, Hawaii. Able to dive deeper than 150 feet in a single breath (which she is able to hold for almost five minutes!), Werner is one of the most decorated spearfishers in the world. However, despite all her accolades, global travels and success, Werner opens up about the moment she felt she’d truly arrived.

“Sometimes the expectations of society cause us to silence our inner guidance, but our intuition and natural instincts are the best guides we have and we need to honor them more – even if it sets us apart from the norm.”  – Kimi Werner
