A stunning portrait by Barcelona-based director Erik Morales of CANADA. “Immortals” features gorgeous footage of the ancient order of Sikh armed warriors known as the Akalis (or Immortals) set to the English myth of King Arthur and his knights.
A wonderful portrait of family life for Mercury Prize nominee Loyle Carner’s track “Sun Of Jean” by Lisbon-born, London-based director João Retorta (previously featured here). His second video for the British hip hop artist, Retorta describes the project as “a nostalgic, honest and delicate depiction of unconditional love between mothers and their sons.” Definitely worth watching to the very end!

A sweet and silly video for Chris Frisina’s folksy track “Fences” by childhood friend and animator Alex Derwik. As Frisina shared with us:
“Alex and I both grew up in the same rural small town of Olean, NY in the early 90’s, and we share something I can’t quite put into words. It was Mischief, folklore, and rumors. It was rundown parks, bloody-noses and black eyes…and Sasquatch lived there.”
Timothy Saccenti, Alan Bibby and Andrei Juradowitch co-direct the video for Black Asteroid’s track “Tangiers,” featuring the bewitching Michele Lamy.
