A short film directed by London-based filmmaker Oscar Sharp, starring Silicon Valley’s Thomas Middleditch and written by “Jetson” — a machine developed by Sharp’s technologist collaborator, Ross Goodwin, and outfitted with an algorithm similar to what you might find on your smartphone (anticipating the words you’re trying to type out). Loaded with hundreds of science fiction scripts, “Sunspring” is the result of 48 hours of shooting and editing whatever Jetson came up with.
